Экс-вице-президент США Джо Байден по-прежнему является лидером предвыборной гонки в США среди представителей Демократической партии, однако его уже догоняет Элизабет Уоррен, сенатор от штата Массачусетс. 

Как информирует PRпортал со ссылкой на телеканал Fox News, об этом свидетельствуют результаты опроса, проведенного среди американцев. 31 процент сторонников демократов заявили, что хотят поддержать на предстоящих президентских выборах Джо Байдена. При этом ещё 20% потенциальных избирателей и сторонников демократов уверенно заявили, что хотят проголосовать за Уоррен. Тройку лидеров среди демократов занимает Берни Сандерс, сенатор от штата Вермонт. Кстати, он является самым пожилым участником президентской гонки в 2016 году. Все остальные претенденты от демократов набрали менее 10% голосов. 

При этом сторонники Республиканской партии в этом вопросе не участвовали. Журналисты подчеркнули, что рейтинг Джо Байдена продолжает падать. В мае за него хотели проголосовать 35% сторонников демократов, в июле их число сократилось до 33%. Что касается рейтинга Уоррен, в марте её поддержали всего 4% американцев, в июле уже 12%
