Мэр Киева Виталий Кличко избран главой Ассоциации городов Украины. Об этом сообщил в Facebook вице-премьер-министр Геннадий Зубко.

 
По словам Зубко, ранее правление Ассоциации городов Украины рекомендовало общему собранию избрать Кличко председателем Ассоциации.
 
Как сообщил в Facebook глава Департамента местного самоуправления Администрации президента Владимир Куренной, за Кличко проголосовали 171 из 208 делегатов собрания Ассоциации городов Украины. 
 
Вторым кандидатом был мэр Львова Андрей Садовый, но голосование по его кандидатуре проведено не было. "За вторую кандидатуру - мэра Львова Андрея Садового не голосовали, потому что Кличко выбрали сразу. Тем не менее самому Садовому это не понравилось. За него выступала львовская делегация", - отметил Куренной.
