Народний депутат України, кандидат на пост мера Дніпропетровська Олександр Вілкул запросив Бориса Філатова на телевізійні дебати. Про це Вілкул написал на сторінці в Фейсбук.

"Считаю разумным, целесообразным и полезным для избирателей пригласить своего конкурента во втором туре по выборам мэра Днепропетровска Бориса Филатова на теледебаты., - заявив Вілкул.

Він вважає, що перший тур виборів у Дніпропетровську "залишив після себе багато питань".

Кандидат на посаду мера Дніпропетровська зазначив, що "люди хочуть почути від кандидатів не нескінченні звинувачення і гасла, а детальне обговорення тих чи інших аспектів майбутнього розвитку міста".

Він зазначив, що для дебатів повинен побут вибраний нейтральний телеканал: "Немає сенсу йти на 1+1 або 2+2, які як і Філатов, пов'язані з групою "Приват" і можуть йому підіграти. Для чесності та відкритості дебати повинні проходити в прямому ефірі. Крім того, вони повинні проходити у Дніпропетровську. Навіщо їхати в Київ, щоб пропонувати шляхи виходу з кризи та вирішення актуальних проблем нашого міста?".
