Про це свідчать дані опитування Reuters/Ipsos.

47% респондентів заявили, що голосуватимуть за Байдена, а 39% проголосують за республіканця Трампа.

Порівняно з минулим тижнем кількість симпатиків Байдена збільшилася на 2 процентних пункти, і на 4% порівняно з опитуванням, проведеним два тижні тому.

Згідно з опитуванням, більш ніж половина американців вважають, що президент Трамп не справляється з кризою, яка спричинена пандемією коронавірусу. 

Опитування проводилося з 15 по 21 квітня серед 4429 американців.

Нагадаємо, колишній суперник Джо Байдена на президентських виборах сенатор-демократ від штату Вермонт Берні Сандерс виступив на підтримку свого опонента та закликав голосувати саме за нього.

Раніше Національний комітет Демократичної партії США заявив, що липневий з'їзд у місті Мілвокі, на якому мав бути офіційно кандидат від демократів на президентських виборах, перенесений на 17 серпня.

Президентські вибори в США заплановані на 3 листопада.
