Сегодня, 24 августа, в Запорожье на площади Героев у стен ОГА торжественно открыли памятник русскоязычному снегирю. Об этом передает местный сайт 061.

Идея создания такого памятника пришла в голову запорожцу Максиму Дрозденко. С помощью скульптора он и воплотил ее в жизнь. "Это памятник единственному интернет-мему, который родился в Запорожье, мему о русскоязычных жидобандеровцах и снегирях. Этот памятник смволизирует одновременно умученного русскоязычного снегиря и русский мир, который скорбит над ним. Мы планировали его установить на базе отдыха "Сич" на Хортице, но с учетом того, что он здесь как родной, попробуем договориться с властью оставить памятник на площади Героев. Надеюсь, эта скульптура станет главной городской достопримечательностью", – говорит Максим Дрозденко.

Как рассказал скульптор Александр Третьяк, выполнивший работу, создание памятника длилось несколько месяцев. "Он сделан из шамотной глины, размер около 50 на 50 см, а весит около 15 кг. Мы неоднократно его переделывали, искали, как сделать эффектнее. Перекрашивали, думали, как лучше показать задумку", – сказал Александр Третьяк.

Уже сейчас возле скульптуры выстроилась очередь запорожцев, желающих с ним сфотографироваться. За лучший кадр Дрозденко обещает подарить мобильный телефон.
