Судя по постановлению, в Следственный комитет с просьбой проверить редакцию обратилась правозащитная организация «Сопротивление», которая обратила внимание следователей на публикацию сайтом LifeNews информации о двух преступлениях, направленных против несовершеннолетних.

При этом, согласно всем требованиям закона, в вышеуказанных сюжетах лица несовершеннолетних пострадавших были замазаны, а их настоящие имена и фамилии в тексте не упоминались.

— В настоящее время в целях всесторонней и объективной проверки необходимо изучение видеосюжетов, размещенных на сайте LifeNews, а также опрос лиц, которые выложили в сети Интернет эти сюжеты, — говорится в документе.
