Референдум по вопросу проведения досрочных выборов главы республики Абхазии не состоялся ввиду низкой явки, заявил президент страны Рауль Хаджимба, передает РИА "Новости".

"Итоги я пока не могу озвучить, это сделает ЦИК. Но референдум по всем параметрам не состоялся", - сказал Хаджимба.

Он также заявил о готовности вести диалог с оппозицией.

"Всё будет нормально, никто не говорил о том, что не готов общаться с ними. Мы говорили о необходимости и возможности разговора, диалога, который необходим был. Но, к сожалению, они всё время пытались уйти от этого разговора и получили то, что получили на сегодня", - добавил Хаджимба.

Президент Абхазии подчеркнул, что повторения беспорядков, которые произошли 5 июля, не будет.
