В UMH Group прокоментували заяву Forbes Media щодо заборони для медіаходингу використовувати бренд Forbes та домен forbes.ua.
 
 
Як ідеться у повідомленні прес-служби UMH Group, такі дії українська сторона розглядає як спробу штучно створити підстави для припинення ліцензійного договору.
 
«На початку цього року, внаслідок подання заяви про застосування забезпечувальних заходів арбітражному суду в США, УМХ забезпечило право продовжити випуск журна-ла «Форбс Україна», а також використання доменного імені forbes.ua. Це право залишається непорушним», - наголошується в заяві UMH Group.
 
А включення американським урядом власника UMH Group Сергія Курченка до переліку осіб, проти яких застосовуються санкції, в UMH Group не вважають підставою для розірвання ліцензійного договору. 
 
«Включення пана Курченко в список осіб, на яких поширюються санкції США від 30 липня 2015 року, не впливає на права УМХ продовжувати видавати журнал і користуватися торговою маркою Forbes, - ідеться в повідомленні прес-служби. - УМХ оплатив це право до кінця 2018 року і має право продовжувати її використання».
