Суд Стамбула видав ордер на арешт головного редактора турецької газети Today's Zaman Бюлента Кенеша через справу про образу президента країни Таїпа Ердогана.
 

Про це повідомляється на сайті даного видання, передає Еспресо.TV.

За їх інформацією, справу проти головного редактора було порушено через його повідомлення в Твіттері, де Кенеш нібито образив президента Ердогана.

Головний редактор заперечує звинувачення, оскільки вважає, що він нікого не ображав, і все написане можливе в рамках законної свободи слова.

Газета зазначає, що з моменту обрання Таїпа Ердогана на президентський пост в серпні минулого року сотням чоловік були пред'явили звинувачення в образі президента. На думку видання, це вже тенденція, яка загрожує свободі слова і свободі вираження думок в країні.
