Представник уряду у Верховній Раді, народний депутат від "Слуги народу" Ірина Верещук не бачить жодних підстав для проведення виборів в окупованих районах Донецької та Луганської областей у найближчі два-три роки.

Як передає кореспондент УНІАН, про це вона сказала журналістам в кулуарах парламенту.

"Я думаю, що взагалі передчасно говорити про будь-які вибори на Донбасі, бо ми не контролюємо українсько-російський кордон. Ми не маємо реального, стійкого припинення вогню… Ми не маємо роззброєння, ми не маємо відведення важкої техніки", - заявила Верещук. "Ми не маємо на сьогодні жодних підстав, що вибори на Донбасі можуть стати реальністю у найближчі два-три роки", - наголосила Верещук.

Крім того, на її переконання, розведення військ на Донбасі проводиться не лише для зустрічі у "нормандському форматі".

"Розведення потрібно і нам в будь-якому випадку, яка б модель не була обрана в подальшому для вирішення конфлікту. Розведення військ, сил та засобів є необхідним елементом. Яку б ми не пропонували стратегію розвитку подій, ми маємо говорити про розведення, бо в іншому випадку ми будемо стріляти, і наші хлопці і цивільне населення будуть гинути", - наголосила вона.

За словами Верещук, розведення сил і засобів у Петрівському та Золотому не завершилось в повній мірі. "Ще потрібен час. Я думаю, що не один день і не тиждень триватиме реальне розведення. Що далі? Зустріч у "нормандському форматі", я сподіваюсь", - сказала нардеп
