У Сербії майбутній прем’єр-міністр Александар Вучич заявив, що в його уряді, вперше в історії цієї країни, буде відвертий гей-міністр.

За його словами, міністром громадської адміністрації в його уряді, що має офіційно почати працювати цього тижня, буде 40-річна Ана Брнабич, повідомляє Радіо Свобода

Як сказав Вучич, він усвідомлює, що це рішення може привернути громадську увагу у країни, де геї часто зазнають залякувань.

Але, сказав він, його не цікавлять особисті вибори Брнабич.

Як очікують, новий лівоцентристський уряд Сербії на чолі з Вучичем офіційно затвердять до кінця цього тижня. Його мають призначити за результатами позачергових парламентських виборів, що відбулися понад три місяці тому, 24 квітня.

Сербія обіцяла посилити права геїв у намаганні вступити до Європейського союзу. Марші геїв останніми роками відбувалися під захистом поліції від погроз ультраправих угруповань.
