Партія прем'єр-міністра Нової Зеландії Джастіни Ардерн виграла на виборах завдяки успішній стратегії боротьби з коронавірусом COVID-19. Попередньо, вона очолить уряд знову. Як інформує PRпортал, про це повідомляє американський телеканал CNN.

“Лейбористська партія” Ардерн отримала 48,9% на виборах. Це найвищий результат партії з початку дії нинішньої політичної системи в країні з 1996 року.

Цей результат означає, що партія отримає 64 зі 120 місць в парламенті, що зробить її першою партією, яка зможе управляти самостійно в рамках нинішньої системи.

На другій позиції – опозиційна сила, правоцентристська “Національна партія”. У них 27% голосів. На минулих виборах у них було 44% підтримки. Лідер партії Джудіт Коллінз вже визнала поразку.

“Нова Зеландія дала “Лейбористській партії” найбільшу підтримку за 50 років. Обіцяю, будемо і далі силою, яка буде керувати на благо кожного новозеландця”, – заявила Ардерн після оголошення результатів виборів.

При 102 випадках коронавірусної хвороби у населення – було оголошено ізоляцію. З початку пандемії в Новій Зеландії зареєстровано менш як дві тисячі заражень.
