В социальной сети Twitter посты с неправдивой информацией, касающейся коронавируса COVID-19, будут помечаться специальным ярлыком.

Об этом сообщили в блоге компании.

Ранее соцсеть только предлагала ознакомиться с проверенными фактами о коронавирусе по ссылке под постом в случае, если в нем упоминался COVID-19.

Теперь в случаях, если в посте опубликована неправдивая информация о коронавирусе, его содержание будет скрыто. Пользователь увидит такое уведомление: “Часть или весь материал, используемый в твите, противоречит рекомендациям экспертов в области здравоохранения, касающихся COVID-19”.

Для того, чтобы просмотреть тест такого твита, пользователю будет необходимо дополнительно подтвердить действие, нажав на кнопку “Просмотр”.

В качестве примера сообщения с фейковой информацией Twitter привели пост, в котором шла речь о том, что лекарство от COVID-19 якобы существует, но его скрывают.

В компании отметили, что ярлыки с предупреждениями появятся не только на новых постах, но и на тех, что были опубликованы до сегодняшнего дня.

Также в Twitter сообщили, система мониторинга такого контента сейчас находится на стадии совершенствования, потому есть вероятность, что некоторые посты получат такие метки незаслуженно.
