Премьер-министр Канады Джастин Трюдо распустил парламент и объявил старт избирательной кампании.

Голосование на 43-х всеобщих выборах в Канаде состоится 21 октября.

«Несколько минут назад я встретился с ее превосходительством генерал-губернатором, которая удовлетворила мою просьбу о роспуске парламента. Канадцы пойдут на выборы 21 октября», — сказал Трюдо.

У лидера Либеральной партии есть пять с половиной недель, чтобы убедить канадцев дать его правительству второй шанс
