Президент США Дональд Трамп не став відповідати, чи готовий визнати будь-який результат президентських виборів, які відбудуться в листопаді.
 

Про це він заявив в інтерв'ю телеканалу Fox News.

Під час спілкування він стверджував, що голосування по пошті в деяких штатах буде відкриє можливість для фальсифікації результати виборів. Журналіст Кріс Воллес запитав Трампа, чи означає це, що він не визнає результати президентських виборів, Трамп відповів: "Я маю спочатку побачити (результати, - ред.) Ні, я не збираюся просто відповідати ствердно. Я не збираюся говорити "ні". 

На питання про те, як він відреагує, якщо програє вибори, чинний президент визнав, що він "поганий невдаха і не любить програвати".

У тому ж інтерв'ю Трамп заявив, що його опонент на президентських виборах Джо Байден "не може зв’язати два речення".

За результатами недавнього опитування від Монмутського університету, Джо Байден на виборах отримує 52%, а Дональд Трамп - 42%. Загальнонаціональне опитування телекомпанії Fox показує, що Байдена готові підтримати 49% виборців, а Трампа лише 41%.

Вибори президента США заплановані на 3 листопада. Переможець має приступити до виконання обов’язків в січні 2021 року. Основними конкурентами вважаються демократ Джо Байден і Дональд Трамп, який представляє Республіканську партію.
