Віцепрезидент Європейської комісії Маргарітіс Схінас висловив сподівання, що американська співачка Тейлор Свіфт допоможе мобілізувати молодь на вибори до Європейського парламенту у червні цього року.

 
Віцеголова Єврокомісії нагадав, що минулого року Свіфт у соцмережах закликала американську молодь зареєструватися для участі у виборах, "і наступного дня після її посту зареєструвалися 35 тисяч молодих американців". 
 
"Тейлор Свіфт 9 травня – в День Європи – буде в Парижі на концерті, тому я дуже сподіваюся, що вона зробить те ж саме для молодих європейців. Я дуже сподіваюся, що хтось із її медіакоманди стежить за цією пресконференцією і передасть їй наше прохання", – додав він.
