Начало заставки первой серии грядущего сезона Симпсонов в нескольких эпизодах посвящено Крыму и России.

Перед школой Спрингфилда появился бигборд с голым Путиным на коне и надписью «Верховая езда в Крыму» на английском языке.

При этом Барт Симпсон, который в начале каждой серии что-то много раз подряд пишет на доске, на этот раз написал PUTIN-HUYLO.
