На местных выборах, прошедших 19 июля в Северной Корее, по данным Центральной избирательной комиссии, явка составила 99,97 процента. Об этом сообщила газета The Guadrian,передает Лента.ру.

В голосовании, не приняли участие только те граждане КНДР, которые находились за пределами страны. Пожилым людям и лицам, не имевшим возможности прийти на избирательные участки по состоянию здоровья, доставили переносные урны.  «все участники голосовали на выборах с необычайным энтузиазмом». Среди прочих выполнил свой гражданский долг и северокорейский лидер Ким Чен Ын.

В списках, которые предлагаются избирателям в КНДР, присутствует только одно имя. Кандидатура заранее утверждается правящей Трудовой партией Кореи. Возглавляет ТПК Ким Чен Ын. Также в стране существуют две мелкие политические организации, фактически подконтрольные ТПК: Партия молодых друзей небесного пути и Социал-демократическая партия Кореи. Цифры явки на выборах традиционно высоки: так, в 2014 году при голосовании за депутатов парламента пришли те же 99,97 процентов граждан.

В 2011 году, как отмечает издание, в местные законодательные собрания были избраны 28 116 депутатов. Ни одного голоса против предложенных партией кандидатов подано не было.

Члены законодательных органов местного уровня избираются в КНДР на 4 года. В течение этого срока они собираются один или два раза в год, в частности, для того, чтобы утвердить локальный бюджет.
