Український письменник і військовослужбовець Сергій Жадан знявся у ролику McDonald’s до Дня Незалежності. 

У рекламі можна побачити військових, фрагмент виступу письменника, а також возз’єднання двох закоханих, розлучених війною. Поза кадром звучить голос Жадана, який зачитує свій вірш, спеціально написаний для ролика.

«Коли до мене звернулися з McDonald’s і попросили написати їм вірш до рекламного ролика, відразу погодився. Зрозуміло, що у вірші немає бургерів і картоплі фрі, але є смачний пиріг. А ще є пам’ять, любов і ніжність. Бо пам‘ять — це дуже часто саме про любов і ніжність», — прокоментувавписьменник.

Також Жадан зазначив, що гонорар з реклами — 1 млн гривень — він передав «в добрі руки на хороші справи».
