Издание The Guardian со ссылкой на собственные источники сообщило, что власти Италии подозревают Россию в длительных кибератаках на дипведомство, которые происходили в прошлом году.

Сообщается, что более четырех месяцев совершались попытки хакеров проникнуть в зашифрованную систему Министерства иностранных дел, в которой хранилась засекреченная информация. Работа злоумышленников не принесла им результата.

Бывший руководитель внешнеполитического ведомства, а ныне премьер-министр Италии Паоло Джентилони также не прочувствовал на себе последствия кибератак, так как не использовал в работе электронную почту.

Атаки были направлены на "отделения министерства на местах". Работу хакеров ощутили в своей деятельности сотрудники, которые отправляют в Рим отчеты о встречах с иностранными официальными лицами.

Отмечается, что чиновник не подтвердил московский след в атаках. Однако люди, которые знакомы с ситуацией, в комментарии изданию рассказали, что за попытками взлома могла стоять РФ. По факту кибератак проводится проверка.

Источники издания утверждают, что, по их мнению, целью кибератаки была попытка «получить представление о процессе принятия решений в рамках итальянского правительства».

Напомним, это уже не первый случай, когда в попытках взломать компьютерные системы разных стран подозревают россиян. Ранее с подобными заявлениями выступали в Нидерландах, Норвегии, Чехии и Германии.
