Російські ЗМІ поширили неправдиву інформацію про наміри Словаччини закупити у Росії бронеавтомобілі "Тигр".

Про це повідомляє Європейська правда із посиланням на словацький портал O Mediach.

16 жовтня російське агентство РИА "Новости" з посиланням на керівництво російської Військово-промислової компанії повідомило про переговори зі словацькою стороною і її наміри закупляти російські бронеавтомобілі на регулярній основі.

Інформацію підхопили інші російські ЗМІ, в тому числі пропагандистський Sputnik, який у матеріалі чеською мовою наголосив на тому, що "Словаччина буде єдиним членом НАТО, що використовуватиме російські (а не американські, німецькі чи французькі) бронеавтомобілі".

Серед словацьких ЗМІ інформацію поширив портал Hlavne Spravy, який вважається одним з основних сайтів дезінформації у Словаччині.

Однак дана інформація виявилася неправдивою, її спростували одразу два словацьких міністерства.

"Міністерство внутрішніх справ Словаччини не купує і не збирається купувати бронеавтомобілі "Тигр", - повідомив Іван Нетік з МВС Словаччини.

"Міністерство оборони Словаччини не купувало бронеавтомобілі "Тигр" і не має наміру робити це у майбутньому" - повідомила Данка Чапакова з прес-служби Міноборони Словаччини.

Вона визнала, що міністерство не зацікавлене у закупівлі техніки з країн ЄС чи НАТО, однак це пояснюється бажанням максимального використання словацької оборонної техніки.
