Президент Литвы Даля Грибаускайте отказалась поздравлять с переизбранием Владимира Путина на пост президента России.

Об этом сообщает Интерфакс-Украина со ссылкой на агентство BNS.

"Пока Россия не демонстрирует уважения к принципам международного права и пренебрегает правами и интересами других стран, от поздравлений мы воздерживаемся", -  заявили агентству BNS в пресс-службе литовского президента.

Тем временем, в пресс-службе президента Латвии агентству BNS не ответили на вопрос, планирует ли глава республики направлять поздравление российскому лидеру.

Ранее министр иностранных дел Литвы Линас Линкявичюс заявил, что состоявшиеся президентские выборы в России не были свободными и демократическими.
