Прем'єр-міністр Словенії Мар'ян Шарец 27 січня заявив, що передає до парламенту свою заяву про відставку, і закликав до дострокових виборів, додавши, що його уряд меншості не в змозі просувати важливі закони.

Уряд на чолі з лідером партії LMŠ Мар'яном Шарецом словенський парламент затвердив у вересні 2018 року.
