Согласно результатам опроса, 66% пользователей в возрасте от 18 до 19 лет предпочитают комментировать новости и статьи в социальных сетях и сервисах. В то же время 60% пользователей в возрасте 60+ читают новости и статьи преимущественно на сайтах издателей. Массовое перетекание аудитории из социальных сетей на издательские площадки наблюдается в возрасте 43-45 лет.
Более 33% от всех опрошенных заявили, что хотели бы видеть меньше новостных заметок в своих лентах. При этом 52% пользователей сообщили о том, что никогда раньше не задумывались над тем, устраивает ли их содержимое новостных лент. Что касается аудитории в возрасте 30 лет, то за последние месяцы число тех, кто хотел бы читать новости и статьи в своих лентах, сократилось с 13% до 11%.

Если говорить о тематике публикаций, то 48% пользователей активно комментируют юмористические посты; 36% – новости политики; ещё 36% – публикации о кулинарии и 30% – сводки о происходящих в мире событиях.

Также напомним, что в конце июня 2016 года Facebook объявил о запуске нового алгоритма формирования новостной ленты. Теперь приоритет будет отдаваться записям друзей и родных пользователя. Нововведения вступят в силу в ближайшие недели. После обновления в начале новостной ленты показываются публикации друзей пользователя – в первую очередь фотографии и видеоролики. Затем идёт информационный и развлекательный контент.
