У столиці Афганістану відбулися два вибухи.

За даними AFP, загинула щонайменше 21 людина й ще 27 отримали поранення. Серед загиблих - один з провідних фотографів агенції AFP Шах Марай (Shah Marai). Перший вибух стався у районі Шашдарак і був здійснений нападником на мотоциклі. У цьому районі розташоване міністерство оборони, розвідка та представництво НАТО.

У Twitter AFP повідомляється, що друга атака була навмисне направлена на групу журналістів. В поліції інформацію підтверджують: «Цей підривник видавав себе за журналіста і підірвав себе в натовпі». Представник поліції також зауважив, що серед людей, які були доставлені до лікарень, є важкопоранені, тож число загиблих може зрости.

Окрім Шаха Марая загинули ще двоє журналістів телеканалу 1TV та журналіст з каналу Tolo news.

За даними «Радіо Свобода», кількість загиблих зросла до 29 осіб, серед них - восьмеро журналістів. Відповідальність за вибух взяла на себе ISIS.

Нагадаємо, в минулому році вибух стався біля інформаційного агентства «Голос Афганістану» (Voice of Afghanistan) в Кабулі. Тоді загинули близько 40 осіб та ще 30 були поранені.
