Уродженці Індії Віді Поплі та її коханий Хрідеш Сайнані влаштували розкішне весілля на борту Boeing 747 у ОАЕ. Книга рекордів Гіннеса хоче зафіксувати це як перший подібний випадок у країні. Церемонію організував батько нареченої – він так же само одружився зі своєю дружиною майже 30 років тому. Про це повідомляє New York Post.

“Це сиквел мого весілля. І подарунок для моєї доньки”, – жартує Діліп Поплі, власник престижної ювелірної компанії Popley and Sons.

У 1994-му він був ще не таким багатим, але йому вистачило грошей, аби повінчатися у небі над Індією зі своєю дружиною Сунітою. Діплі каже – завжди мріяв, аби у доньки було таке ж весілля.

“Витрати на весілля у Дубаї обмежує тільки небо”, – жартує організатор весілля. 

“Все залежить від кількості гостей і бюджету. Поплі воно обійшлося у $1.6 млн – $1.9 млн”, – додає він.

Весілля відбулося 24 листопада. Пара під’їхала до літака на Ferrari. У салоні було близько 300 гостей. Святкування тривало три години. Попередня паперова робота із бронювання літака зайняла 12 місяців.

Наречена радіє, що змогла реалізувати мрію батька. 

“Я сподіваюся, що для нашого сина ми зможемо зробити щось більше. Наприклад, весілля у космосі”, – каже Віді.
