Итальянский суд приговорил к восьми месяцам лишения свободы и денежному штрафу актрису Орнеллу Мути , сказавшуюся больной и не вышедшую на сцену ради поездки в Санкт-Петербург.

59-летняя звезда итальянского театра и кино Орнелла Мути, пик популярности которой пришелся на 1980-е годы, приговорена судом города Порденоне к восьми месяцам лишения свободы и денежному штрафу в размере 600 евро, передает УНИАН

Вердикт вынесен по обвинению актрисы в симулировании болезни и прогуле спектакля в театре Верди в городе Триест в пользу ужина с президентом России Владимиром Путиным в декабре 2010 года.

Как выяснилось в ходе расследования, Орнелла Мути уговорила одного из врачей выдать ей ложное медицинское свидетельство о том, что она больна ларингитом. Получив справку, освобождавшую ее от необходимости выходить на сцену в новой постановке, гонорар за которую составлял 25 тысяч евро, актриса вылетела в Санкт-Петербург. Там вместе с американским актером, режиссером, продюсером и музыкантом Кевином Костнером она приняла участие в благотворительном ужине с Путиным.

При этом судья Патриция Боттери предложила осужденной вместо отбывания срока первоначально заплатить 30 тысяч евро и таким образом покрыть часть понесенных театром убытков. Окончательная сумма ущерба пока не названа. Ее определит другой суд.
