51% опрошенных американцев верят во вмешательство России в президентские выборы США. Об этом свидетельствуют результаты опроса телекомпании NBC и издания The Wall Street Journal.

36% респондентов сказали, что не верят в хакерскую атаку со стороны РФ.

При этом 70% из тех опрошенных американцев, которые верят во вмешательство России во время предвыборной гонки, считают, что это повлияло на результат президентских выборов. А 26% из них ответили, что не повлияли.

86% опрошенных, проголосовавших на выборах за республиканца Дональда Трампа, отметили, что вмешательство в выборы вообще не повлияло на их результаты.

Согласно результатам опроса, 33% респондентов считают отношения между новоизбранным президентом Дональдом Трампом и президентом России Владимир Путин слишком дружескими, а 24% опрошенных ответили, что нет.

5 января 2017 года разведка США получила "убедительные доказательства", что Москва передала сайту WikiLeaks похищенные хакерами с серверов Демпартии данные через некую третью сторону. 6 января власти США заявили, что установили посредников, которые передали Wikileaks украденные электронные данные.

8 января будущий начальник аппарата Белого дома Райнс Прибус заявил, что избранный президент США Дональд Трамп признает, что РФ стоит за кибератаками на выборы в США и может предпринять ответные действия.
