У польському місті Торунь під час візиту президента Польщі Броніслава Коморовського невідомий чоловік намагався напасти на главу держави. Про це повідомляє Радіо Польща.

Коморовський прибув в Торунь як кандидата на пост президента – в його планах була зустріч з виборцями.

В той момент, коли він входив до будівлі торуньской ратуші, з натовпу вибіг чоловік і, за словами одного з поліцейських, "дуже різко побіг у напрямку до президента".

Поліцейські захистили Коморовського від можливого нападу. За словами поліції, зараз зловмисник перебуває в місцевому комісаріаті. Проти нього висунуто звинувачення, але тільки в нападі на поліцейського.

Чим мотивувався чоловік, кинувшись на Коморовського, наразі не відомо. Повідомляється, що зброї під час нападу у нього не було.

24 травня в Польщі відбудеться другий тур президентських виборів, в якому беруть участь діючий президент Польщі Броніслав Коморовський і кандидат від опозиції Анджей Дуда.
