Невідомі зламали російське ділове видання The Bell та відправили підписникам «провокаційні листи», повідомила редакція в Telegram 2 вересня.

«Нас знову зламали. Тільки що наші передплатники отримали розсилку з чужим провокаційним текстом, який ми не писали і не відправляли. Ми розбираємось у тому, що сталося, та просимо в усіх вибачення», – заявили у виданні.

Як зазначає «Радіо Свобода», у листі, який отримали підписники, від імені редакції був заклик бойкотувати вибори до Держдуми РФ та виходити на пікети.

У тексті, стилізованому під матеріали редакції, стверджувалося, що результат запланованого на середину вересня голосування нібито вже вирішений. Читачам було запропоновано або не ходити на вибори, або зіпсувати бюлетень, або голосувати за будь-яку партію, крім «Єдиної Росії». 

Наприкінці серпня видання вже стикалось зі спробами злому і атаки на сайт. Також невідомі замовили деталізацію дзвінків журналістки The Bell Ірини Панкратовой, підробивши довіреність від її імені. 

На момент публікації цієї новини сайт видання The Bell не працює. В редакції зазначають, що це потрібно для технічних робіт, щоб ліквідувати наслідки злому.
