Після завершення підрахунку голосів на всіх 650 округах переможцем визнана Консервативна партія діючого голови уряду Бориса Джонсона.

Консерватори отримають у новому парламенті 365 мандатів (на 47 мандатів більше, ніж на виборах 2017 року). Це абсолютна більшість та найкращий результат з 1987 року — часів прем'єрства Маргарет Тетчер.

Опозиційна Лейбористська партія отримує 203 мандати (мінус 59 мандатів), що є найгіршим результатом за всю історію партії.

Шотландська національна партія розмістилася на третьому місці з 48 мандатами (що на 13 більше, ніж у попередньому парламенті), Ліберальні демократи отримують 11 мандатів (на один менше, ніж в попередньому парламенті).

Як повідомлялося, голова уряду Великої Британії Борис Джонсон заявив, що після перемоги на виборах матиме змогу здійснити Brexit без жодних "якщо", "але" та референдуму. Переговори щодо Brexit тривали три роки, зрештою їх продовжили ще на рік. Офіційною датою виходу Великої Британії з ЄС наразі є 31 січня 2020 року.
