На Торецькому напрямку під час виконання бойового завдання загинув військовослужбовець, письменник, історик і теолог Юрій Канюк.

Про це повідомило Міністерство культури та стратегічних комунікацій у фейсбуці.

Як повідомили у міністерстві, у мирні часи Юрій мешкав у Львові, викладав історію та займався письменницькою діяльністю.

У його доробку — книга «Лист зоряної порожнечі», що вийшла друком у 2018 році. Продовжував писати й на передовій, у перервах між боями.

Юрій Канюк загинув 21 жовтня у віці 30 років.
