Чинний мер Борисполя Анатолій Федорчук здобув перемогу на місцевих виборах, незважаючи на той факт, що він помер. Цю інформацію опубліковано на сайті Центральної виборчої комісії.

Ім'я та прізвище Федорчука фігурує в списку "Обрані на посаду міського голови в містах обласного значення".

За даними ЦВК, за Анатолія Федорчука, який представляв на виборах партію "Наш край", проголосували 24,93% виборців (5343 голоси). Друге місце посів кандидат від партії "Європейська солідарність" Володимир Борисенко з 13,99% голосів.

Нагадаємо, що 28 жовтня від коронавірусу помер чинний мер Борисполя і лідер виборчих перегонів Анатолій Федорчук. Політику було 60 років, а на посаді бориспільського міського голови він працював з 2006 року.

Пізніше стало відомо, що у зв'язку зі смертю Анатолія Федорчука в Борисполі проходитимуть повторні вибори
