Суд засудив колишнього політтехнолога Партії регіонів і керівника виборчої кампанії Дональда Трампа Пола Манафорта ще до 3,5 років.

Суддя Емі Берман Джексон Федерального окружного суду у Вашингтоні засудила Манафорта через скоєння ним низки злочинів – відмивання грошей, перешкоджання правосуддю, неповідомлення про лобістську роботу, яка принесла йому десятки мільйонів доларів протягом більш, ніж десяти років.

"Важко переоцінити кількість брехні та обсяг шахрайства, а також кількість грошей", - зазначила суддя Джексон про справу Манафорта.

7 березня суд у США дав Полу Манафорту 3,9 років в'язниці за шахрайство. 

Відповідно, в цілому, після вироків двох судів Манафорт отримав 7,5 років в'язниці.
