Предстоящие в нынешнем году в Белоруссии президентские выборы станут экзаменом для власти, готовиться к которому следует без популизма. Такое мнение выразил в пятницу глава белорусского государства Александр Лукашенко во время посещения Минского тракторного завода,пишет ТАСС.

"И к этому экзамену мы должны достойно подготовиться без всякого популизма, чтобы вы нас потом после выборов не упрекали, что что-то пообещали, но после выборов забыли", - сказал он.

По словам Лукашенко, сейчас главная задача для власти до выборов - при ограниченных возможностях в плане увеличения зарплат сохранить контроль над ценообразованием. "Нам надо сохранить тот уровень, который нам достался с прошлого года. По ценообразованию мы тут проконтролируем, цены все зависят практически от нас", - отметил он.

"Если растут цены на импорт, господь с ними, - добавил президент. - Главное, чтобы на товары белорусского производства цены не росли". "Мы это контролируем, мы видим, помогаем предприятиям. Где-то да, действительно, цены должны быть подвинуты. Но главное - удержать заработную плату на уровне прошлого года", - сообщил он.

Как ожидается, президентские выборы пройдут в Белоруссии в середине ноября.
