Олександр Лукашенко заявив, що готовий гарантувати проведення нових виборів в країні, "якщо цього захоче народ". Про це він сказав на відкритті третьої лінії мінського метро 6 листопада, виступаючи перед зібраним трудовим колективом. 

Відео з виступом Лукашенко оприлюднив близький до президента Білорусі Telegram-канал "Пул першого".

Він зокрема поскаржився, що західні партнери вимагають проведення нових виборів президента Білорусі.

"Деякі від нас вимагають нових виборів. Гарантую вам нові вибори, тоді, коли ви приймете рішення. Гарантую. Німці вчора занепокоїлися, аж в парламенті своєму прийняли рішення, для нас білорусів. Ви спочатку там, у себе розберіться. У Польщі розберіться, вона ближче. І найголовніше - чи зажадають вони від американців провести нові, повторні вибори? Ось я подивлюся, як німці вимагатимуть від американців".
