Аннексированный Крым вошел в десятку стран и территорий с худшим показателем свободы слова.

Об этом говорится в отчете неправительственной правозащитной организации Freedom House,пишет Новое время

В рейтинге стран и территорий, получивших худший рейтинг, помимо Крыма вошли также Беларусь, Иран, Куба, Северная Корея, Сирия, Туркменистан, Узбекистан, Экваториальная Гвинея и Эритрея.

В организации отмечают, что на украинском полуострове, оккупированном российскими войсками, независимые СМИ не существуют или едва способны работать, пресса выступает в качестве пропагандистского рупора режима, доступ граждан к объективной информации жестко ограничен, а несогласие подавляет с помощью тюремного заключения, пыток, репрессий.

В то же время рейтинг Украины в отчете организации улучшился с 63 до 58 баллов, а ее статус повысился с несвободной к частично свободной в связи с положительными изменениями в сфере СМИ бегства Януковича.
