Звезда фильмов для взрослых Никки Бенц (Nikki Benz) заявила о намерении участвовать в качестве кандидата на выборах мэра Торонто, сообщает Sky News. Порноактриса уже подала соответствующую заявку в мэрию города, однако, по данным газеты Toronto Sun, у нее возникли неожиданные препятствия для регистрации: в качестве документа, удостоверяющего ее личность, Бенц предъявила просроченные водительские права.

Если девушке все же удастся преодолеть бумажную волокиту, в борьбе за пост градоначальника ее главным конкурентом станет скандально известный действующий мэр Торонто Роб Форд, который в прошлом году прославился на весь мир благодаря череде скандалов. Самым громким из них стали сообщения СМИ о существовании видеозаписи, на которой Форд курит крэк. Позднее он сам признался в наркотической и алкогольной зависимостях и заявил о необходимости пройти курс лечения.

В качестве предвыборного лозунга порнозвезда выдвинула слоган «Перейди с Форда на Бенц». В случае избрания она обещает привлечь порноиндустрию в Торонто, что позволит серьезно пополнить городской бюджет. Кроме того, Бенц обещает решить проблему транзита и снизить налоги на недвижимость.

Выборы мэра Торонто пройдут в октябре этого года.
