Відповідне питання екс-держсекретареві поставили журналісти під час перельоту в Клівленд, передає depo.ua з посиланням на Daily Mail.

У США є традиція, що з'явилася ще за часів екс-президента Рональда Рейгана, згідно з якою журналісти намагаються докотити з хвоста літака до кандидата в президенти, який сидить в передній частині літака, апельсини з написаними на них питаннями.

На апельсині, який відправили Клінтон, було написано наступне: "З ким би ви хотіли повечеряти?" Необхідно було вибрати між Путіним і Трампом. Через кілька хвилин до журналістів повернувся апельсин з обведеним варіантом "Путін", повідомляє видання.

При цьому сама Клінтон не обводила відповідь, за неї це зробив її прес-секретар Нік Мерілл, який і перехопив апельсин. За його словами, Клінтон сказала, що одного разу вже обідала з Путіним. Тоді Мерілл сам обвів відповідь і відправив апельсин назад журналістам.
