По итогам обработки 83 % голосов предварительного голосования (кокусов) в штате Невада кандидат в президенты США от Демократической партии Хиллари Клинтон набрала 52 % голосов, а ее ближайший конкурент — сенатор от Вермонта Берни Сандерс — 48%.

Об этом сообщает телеканал Fox News. 

В своем Twitter Клинтон поблагодарила избирателей. "Для всех, кто голосовал в Неваде: это ваша победа. Спасибо вам", — написала она в социальной сети.

Предварительные внутрипартийные выборы кандидатов в президенты США от Республиканской и Демократической партии проводятся в 2016 году с 1 февраля по 28 июля. Первые кокусы прошли в Айове 1 февраля. Тогда Клинтон набрала 49,86% голосов, а Сандерс - 49,57%.

10 февраля состоялись праймериз в Нью-Гэмпшире. Тогда Клинтон признала свое поражение, набрав 40% голосов избирателей. Сандерс получил 57% голосов.
