Дослідники також підрахували, що доступ до Інтернету мають 3,819 млрд осіб, що становить понад 51% населення планети.

Найпопулярнішою соціальною платформою (social platform) виявилася Facebook. За нею слідують YouTube, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger та WeChat. Facebook щомісяця користується більше 2 млрд осіб, причому в основному з мобільних пристроїв (87%). 59% зареєстрованих в соцмережі заходять в неї щодня.
