Рэпер Канье Уэст, который недавно заявил о президентских амбициях, не смог зарегистрироваться кандидатом в президенты в штате Южная Каролина, где накануне провел предвыборный митинг.

 

 

 

Об этом сообщил представитель избирательной комиссии в эфире телеканала Fox News.

Избирательной комиссии необходимо было предоставить 10 тысяч собранных подписей в поддержку кандидата (Уэста). Собрать подписи не удалось, потому рэпера независимым кандидатом не зарегистрировали.

Сам рэпер просил в Твиттере, чтобы его сторонники поставили подписи.

Именно на митинге в Южной Каролине Уэст был в бронежилете с надписью Security и говорил о международной торговле и абортах. У него на затылке были выбриты цифры 2020.

Стоит отметить, что Уэста, как независимого кандидата в президенты, зарегистрировали в штате Оклахома.

Там он успел собрать и подать все необходимые документы, в том числе оплатил регистрационный взнос в размере 35 тысяч долларов.
