Кандидат на пост президента США от Республиканской партии Джон Кейсик пообещал возродить британскую рок-группу Pink Floyd в случае своей победы на выборах.
Об этом сообщает Эспрессо.TV со ссылкой на The Guardian.
"Роджер Уотерс (основатель группы Pink Floyd, - ред.) замечательный музыкант. Я видел его шоу The Wall в Питсбурге, это было невероятно. Если я стану президентом, я постараюсь сделать все, чтобы Pink Floyd воссоединились и сыграли хотя бы пару песен", - заявил Кейсик.
Роджер Уотерс с 1985 года находится в ссоре с другими участниками группы, которые длительное время продолжали выступать и записывать альбомы без него.
В 2015 году лидер Pink Floyd Дэвид Гилмор заявил, что группа прекращает существование. В то же время Уотерс не прекратил концертную деятельность, выполняя полностью такие классические альбомы группы, как Dark side of the moon и The Wall.
