За час введення в дію розпорядження про вирахування із заробітної плати народних депутатів за невідвідування засідань Верховної Ради, парламентарів було оштрафовано на 1,5 млн гривень.

Про це сказав голова Верховної Ради Андрій Парубій на прес-конференції в Києві, передає кореспондент Громадського.

«За цей період (з кінця травня до 15 липня – ред.) Верховна Рада зекономила півтора мільйони гривень. І це тільки за ці кілька місяців», – сказав він.

За його словами, цей спосіб не є найбільш ефективним, тому він закликає громадськість тиснути в цьому питанні на депутатів, особливо на мажоритарників.

«За останні місяць-півтора, коли цей тиск зріс, я можу впевнено сказати, що Рада почала працювати ефективніше навіть у літні місяці», – сказав спікер.
