Найактивнішу участь в запуску так званої "партії мерів" бере міський голова Дніпра Борис Філатов.

Як йдеться в статті, Філатов, на початок червня,  це та людина, яка веде "первинні перемовини та займається концентрацією капіталу" в новому проєкті.

За словами осіб близьких до мера Дніпра, він хоче провчити президента, почавши з розгрому на місцевих виборах восени 2020-го. Причина – образа на Зеленського після його відвідин Дніпра. 

"Зараз мер Дніпра взяв на себе шефство запуску нової партії. До нього вже приєдналися міські голови Миколаєва Олександр Сєнкевич, Чернівців – Олексій Каспрук, Житомира – Сергій Сухомлин", – йдеться у статті. 

Як розповідає джерело у "партії мерів": "Комунікація триває з усіма міськими головами. Мери дуже солідарні одне з одним, але поки що не всі готові вступати у цю партію. Але, думаю, це справа часу".

Мери запланували офіційну презентацію власної партії, 19 червня мають оголосити програму дій і запросити всіх колег до переговорів
