Компанія Facebook запускає інструменти для боротьби із так званою «порно-помстою» (revenge porn) - публікацією інтимних фото чи відео без згоди людей, які на них зображені, пише Media Sapiens

Користувачі отримають змогу поскаржитися на інтимний контент, опублікований в соцмережі без їх згоди, а також уникнути розповсюдження цих фото надалі. Для цього компанія використає схожий алгоритм як у боротьбі з дитячим порно. Він буде помічати контент, який був переглянутий адміністраторами та визначений як «порно-помста», й блокуватиме його поширення, пише The Guardian.

Також соцмережа блокуватиме акаунти, які неодноразово поширювали інтимний контент без згоди усіх його учасників.

За даними дослідницького інституту Data & Society, 4% американських користувачів інтернету зазнавали «порно-помсти» в онлайні в 2016 році. В 27 штатах та в окрузі Колумбія діють закони, які забороняють публікацію інтимного контенту без взаємної згоди, але штрафи за порушення варіюються, а судове переслідування за це буває рідко. У Великобританії «порно-помсту» визнали злочином у 2015 році - з того часу було порушено 206 судових справ за цим звинуваченням.

Нагадаємо, минулого року YouTube та Facebook розробили технологію для блокування екстремістських відео. Система шукає хеш файлу - унікальний цифровий ідентифікатор, не прив'язаний до назви файлу, - який дозволяє інтернет-компанії автоматично видаляти весь вміст з відповідними хешем.
