Социальная сеть Twitter ко Всемирному дню эмодзи, который отмечается 17 июля, объявила о запуске новой функции. Теперь поиск аудитории для рекламодателей будет проходить не только по ключевым словам, но и по эмодзи, которые используют пользователи в своих сообщениях, сообщает интернет-издание AIN.UA.
 
 
Для таргетинга (рекламного механизма, позволяющего выделить из всей имеющейся аудитории только необходимую целевую аудиторию и показать рекламу именно ей) доступны эмодзи, включенные в стандарт Юникод. По словам представителей компании, новая функция позволит маркетологам «общаться» с пользователями на основе пищевых смайликов, которые они используют, выраженных ими чувств и предпочтений.
Таким образом, пользователю, который что-нибудь затвитит, ретвитнет или ответит на сообщение с конкретным смайликом, интересующим рекламодателя, может быть показана определенная реклама. Использовать новую функцию смогут компании, покупающие в Twitter рекламу через официальных партнеров – AdParlor, Amobee, HYFN, Perion, SocialCode или 4C.
