У США сенатор від Республіканської партії від штату Техас Тед Круз опинився в центрі скандалу після того, як інтернет-користувачі помітили, що він поставив у Twitter "лайк" порноролику.

Юзери побачили, що Тед Круз поставив "лайк" 2-хвилинному відео, яке було опубліковане в акаунті "Sexuall Posts" (Сексуальні пости). Новина про це стала швидко поширюватися в соціальних мережах та ЗМІ.

Потім "лайк" був вилучений, а Теду Крузу довелося виправдовуватися.

"Це був не я", - сказав він в інтерв'ю телеканалу CNN, додавши, що це було простою помилкою.

За словами сенатора, "лайк" порноролику поставив співробітник, який веде його аккаунт в Twitter. Круз сказав, що цей співробітник був ідентифікований, але відмовився назвати його ім'я.

"Я вас запевняю, він зараз почуває себе жахливо", - сказав сенатор.
