BuzzFeed News ищет сотрудников-подростков, которые будут создавать оригинальные видеоролики в рамках освещения выборов в США в 2020 году.

Об этом сообщает ресурс NiemanLab.

По словам директора отдела новостей Сары Ясин, трое подростков в возрасте от 16 до 19 лет будут выбраны исходя из их интереса к политике и творческих способностей.

“Это шанс использовать нашу огромную аудиторию для создания содержательных разговоров о политике США. Идеальный кандидат должен быть креативным, увлеченным предстоящими выборами и стремиться показать, что к 2020 год означает для них и их сверстников. Послы будут сотрудничать с редакторами новостей BuzzFeed, чтобы отточить свое мнение о новости и изучить лучшие практики для привлечения и роста социальной аудитории”, – говорится в описании работы.

Отмечается, что “послы”-подростки будут удаленно работать из разных стран, а также “мест, которые могут не учесть в общенациональном диалоге”. Сначала сотрудники будут учиться в Нью-Йорке.

Сообщается, что “послам” будет выплачиваться “конкурентная” стипендия.

По мнению Ясин, подростки, не имеющие права голоса, все равно является частью поколения, затронутого политикой.

“То, что они будут делать, будет отвечать журналистским стандартам. Но они не обязательно должны хотеть стать журналистом”, – говорит она.
