Художник Сударсан Паттнаик, который создает скульптуры из песка, «слепил» 500 Санта Клаусов на индийском пляже в преддверии Нового года, пишет Культурология. Их одежду он раскрасил в красный и черный цвета при помощи специального пищевого красителя.

 

Надо сказать, что создано это было не только ради красоты, и руководствовался Сударсан Паттнаик не только духом Рождества, зародившимся у него внутри. Главная цель этой инсталляции — посредством искусства информировать людей об угрозе глобального потепления. Ведь через несколько часов после окончания работы над этими песочными Санта Клаусами, они были смыты прибоем.
